About us
Beachrace results are sometimes hard to find. Every organiser publishes them in their own way: a table with the timekeeper, a PDF on their own website or just a photo on social media. That is why strandrace.com puts them all in one place, in the same format. It started as a fun database project, and it still is.

What you will find here
- Every result in the same way. For each race an overall result for men and women, with the age groups and categories (such as the Business race) as a filter.
- A profile for every rider. With all the beachraces you have ridden, your overall position and your best results together.
- Look back over the years. For each race you can quickly jump to another year.
Why does it say ’25/’26?
Beachracing happens in autumn and winter, when the beaches are empty. A season therefore runs over two years: from October to March. Season ’25/’26 is October 2025 to March 2026. Races from July to December count for the new season. That is why you see two years everywhere, not one.
What do the jerseys mean?
In a result there is sometimes a jersey after a name. It shows who rode in the champion's jersey or the leader's jersey.
- Dutch champion. The first Dutch rider at the Dutch championship. It is an open race: if someone from another country wins, the first Dutch rider is the champion.
- Belgian champion. The first Belgian rider at the Belgian championship, also an open race.
- European champion. The winner of the European championship.
- NL-Beachcup leader. Whoever was top of the standings before that race.
A champion rides in the jersey until the next championship, at most until the end of the following season. If the championship is not held for a year, the jersey disappears after that.
Making beachracing bigger again
Beachracing is a beautiful sport: hundreds of riders at the start together, wind, sand, the waterline and miles of beach. We want to make beachracing bigger again, and strandrace.com is one way to do that. When results are easy to find, performances become visible. Riders can show their results, teams can follow their riders and new riders can see everything there is to ride. Every result we share, here and on Instagram, shows how beautiful this sport is.

How do the results count?
Every race has one of four levels: classic, top race, standard race or regional race. A win in Egmond-Pier-Egmond therefore weighs more than a win in a small, regional beachrace. This decides which results are at the top of a rider profile.
