Privacy policy

In short: strandrace.com uses no cookies and does not track you. There are no ads, no analytics package and no social media buttons watching along. We store nothing about visitors.

Visitors

• No cookies. We do not give you any cookies, so no cookie banner is needed.
• No tracking. We do not keep track of who views which page. We only count how many pages are viewed in total, without storing anything about you. The font and all images are on our own server, so your browser does not contact any other parties.
• Server data. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep technical logs, such as IP address and time, to protect the server. We do not use them to follow visitors.
• Links to Instagram. If you click a rider's Instagram link, you go to Instagram and Instagram's privacy policy applies.

Results and rider profiles

We take the results from the organisers and timekeepers of the beachraces, who have already made them public. For each rider this is name, bib number, category, time and position. Every rider in a result gets a profile with his or her results.

Age, nationality, team and Instagram are only shown on a profile if we know them from the result or if the rider tells us. Of a date of birth we only show the age, also in the form on your profile.

A profile cannot be deleted. Your profile exists because you are already in the published results of the beachraces. Without you the result would no longer be correct. Is something wrong, like a typo in your name, a wrong team or a wrong time? Let us know via the form on your profile or below the result, and we will fix it.

When you fill in a form

On your profile you can add details, below a result you can report a mistake, on the homepage you can send in a result and under Teams you can register a team. We then keep:

• What you fill in, so we can check it. Nothing goes online until we have approved it.
• A file with the result, if you send one. We delete the file one month after handling it.
• Your email address, if you fill it in. This is optional and we only use it if we really need to contact you about your request or report. We delete it one month after handling it.
• An encrypted code of your IP address, only to keep out spam. Your IP address cannot be recovered from it and we delete the code after two days.

We do not sell or share this data with anyone.
